My New Blogspot / Potty Training / MaryJane

So I decided to start a new blogspot for my family. You can still see my pregnancy blog though @ www.immelue.blogspot.com. I posted all my old blogs from other places just to catch you up :0)

We are potty training Jackson. At first we were using a method that says they will be trained in 3 days. We used it on Gage and he was fully trained in 4 days so I was excited to get Jackson out of diapers. They say kids are ready even before they turn 2, as long as they are able to wake up dry in the morning. For Jackson that verys. Most of the time he does but not always. And we have had a hard time getting him to go to sleep without a drink. Dave can't stand to listen to him cry so sometimes he would give him one when I wasn't looking. Naughty Dave! :0) Now we have realized the importance of not going to bed with a drink since Gage had cavities filled. So we really need to put a stop to that! Anyways, we have had a hard time potty training. Mostly at night. I was tired of changing his bedding at least once a day between bed time and nap. so, I decided to put pull ups on him instead of underwear at night only. Then it went to at night and whenever we went anywhere. and now it's all the time. I have gotten a bit lazy about it. He won't tell us when he needs to go. Even if we ask the answer is always no. So it's hard to catch him before he has an accident. I was taking him to the potty every hour or so just to see if he had to go but it's been over a month since we started. so, we are still trying to train. Maybe someday soon he will get it down.

MaryJane is 4 1/2 months old already, can't believe it! I started giving her solids on the 23rd. She hardly makes a mess, compared to Gage and Jackson when they were babies. She gets it down pretty well. She loves eating! :0)

She was 14 lbs. 8 oz. and 25 1/2 inches at her 4 month appointment. She's already starting with the stranger danger. It's strange cause the Dr. said they usually don't start that till like 9 months. So he sees it as a good thing. If she doesn't know the person looking at her or if you use a deep voice she will cringe and scream. It's sad :( cause she does it to my dad and even Dave sometimes. She talks up a storm. She's always trying to tell us something. I love the gurgle the most. So cute! :0)
