MaryJane had her first shots on the 13th of May. She was exactly 2 months old. I can't believe how big she is getting, she's already 12 lbs. That's average for a 3 month old so she's a big girl. I can't remember life without her, I am so in love with my baby girl :0) I have the perfect family.
I had my appendix removed on April 28th. The whole thing was so weird, it happened so fast. I went into the urgent care that morning with stomach pains, I was having my blood taken by noon, and a CAT scan done at 3. Both confirmed I had appendicitis. I went straight to the surgeon for a quick visit and straight to the hospital. I was able to go home for a quick minute to feed MaryJane and pump some milk between my blood test and CAT scan because I had to drink this fluid dye stuff over a period of time before they could do the scan. I was in surgery at about 7 pm I believe. I stayed at the hospital over night and went home the next day. Everything was done laperscopicly (I know I totally killed that word) so I only have 3 small incisions. recovery was pretty quick but I was still recovering from having MJ 6 weeks before and I was sick so it was not fun. MaryJane ended up getting a couple of bottles of formula because I didn't have enough pumped. I was not able to feed her for at least 24 hours after the dye stuff was injected for the CAT scan and then I was put under anesthesia so I didn’t get to feed her till I got home from the hospital. The formula made her a little backed up and she ended up getting sick. I thought she was going to be the only one in our family to avoid getting sick, cause all of us seemed to have something except her. Then everyone was getting better, and she got sick. But that didn't last long. I am a firm believer that breast fed babies get sick less often and they are able to kick the bug a lot faster. I am sure it helped that I probably had the same thing she did so I already had the immunities to that cold.
I am going to be looking for a job. I really don't want to go back but we really need to get caught up on some things and we are trying to get our yard done this year so the kids have somewhere safe to play. So if anyone knows of anything that pays well and is hiring for part time let me know. Hopefully I can avoid being on the phones all day. I am done with that sort of work!
I am not sure if I told everyone about Gage's leg... When we went for his 6 week check back in Feb. his broken leg is about 14 cm shorter then the other. Which is a little over half an inch I believe. We have to go back in a year to have them measure the length again to make sure it's catching up. It should be growing faster than the other so in the end you won't even be able to tell the difference and shouldn't be any different than a normal person's legs. No one's legs are the same length. So he won't be throwing off his back or anything so that is good news :0) Now if Gage hurts that leg, like the other day he fell and scraped his knee, he thinks he broke it all over again and won't walk on it until he forgets about it. He's a silly kid.
We are officially done having our own children. Dave had a vasectomy a couple weeks ago. Makes me sad but glad. He was down for a while but feeling a lot better now.
I already told you what was goin on lately with Jack on my last post so I guess that's about it...
