MaryJane turned 1

We had a party with family and friends on Saturday, March 13th. Sometimes I wonder if the party is more for the parents than the baby at this age. or I should say more for the mom :) She was getting over a cold and she still has some stranger anxiety so she wasn't the happiest camper. I can't get the girl to keep bows in her hair anymore but she stilled looked adorable in her birthday dress. We had yummy soup and sandwiches. Crystal made her a beautiful flower layer cake and a very messy smash cake! She didn't mind the birthday song, which surprised me because I thought she'd hate the attention. She had fun opening her gifts and especially loved the cards. I think everyone there had a good time.

She was Ok with eating her cake at first until a big scary person names Annie tried to help. :)
